Columbus principal Vince Schlueter demonstrates an
interactive geometry lesson. Instead of using a compass to
draw circles, Mr. Schlueter uses a virtual compass found in
the WizTeach math toolbar to demonstrate the concept of
concentric and not concentric circles.

District 7 third grade teacher Stephanie Raz and her
students demonstrate an integrated, interactive lesson using
the e-version of Scholastic News. The software allows
students to highlight vocabulary words and click on links to
gain further information on a topic.
Fifth Grade Social

District 7 fifth grade teacher Matt Maddox and his students
demonstrate an interactive map of Asia. Students are able to
place countries on an up-to-date map, giving them immediate
feedback regarding their selection of a location on the
continent.
AP Calculus Lesson

Edwardsville High School math teacher John Meinzen
demonstrates how to capture his teaching notes, as well as
how to incorporate an interactive graphing resource that can
be found on an outside website. The interactive graphing
website allows the user to manipulate the limit lines to see
how the feasible region changes during an AP Calculus
lesson.
