The following procedures will be followed on days
school may be canceled or dismissed early due to inclement weather.

days when inclement weather occurs or is pending, the decision to cancel school

Parents will now also be informed of school closures via an
automated phone call system. If school is closed for the day or dismissing
early parents will receive an automated call on the numbers listed on their
emergency card. (home, work and cell phones)

On
days when inclement weather occurs or is pending, please listen to the
following radio/TV broadcasts regarding school closings. KMOX-AM (1120);
KMOV-TV Channel 4 NEWS; KTRS-AM (550); FOX 2 NEWS/KTVI; KSDK Channel 5 NEWS;
NEWS 30; WSBW; Local Access TV; WSIE-FM (88.7); and WBGZ-AM (1570).

On
days when inclement weather occurs or is pending, information regarding the
closing of school can also be accessed through District 7’s web site (www.ecusd7.org)
and by calling the main phone line (656-1182).

The
district will also use the Intelligencer “I” line to communicate with parents
regarding weather matters.
Parents are encouraged to make the
necessary arrangements to meet their children on early dismissal days.
