The Edwardsville High School athletes and coaches continue to
experience much success in all aspects of athletics and
sportsmanship. These young people bring outstanding recognition
to the Edwardsville community from across all state lines and
specifically in Illinois and in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
As a community, it would be
nice to even show greater support and appreciation for our young
people in and above what we currently do. In recent weeks, there
have been several community citizens raise the question as to
how we may go about promoting greater athletic spirit throughout
our community for all athletic programs at Edwardsville High
School. To that end, a group of volunteers have offered to begin
a group called (P.A.W.S.) Promoting Athletics with Spirit. The
focus of the group is to encourage and promote Tiger spirit
throughout the District 7 community.
