As our class was studying Asia we learned how nature and natural themes influence Japanese culture. Two examples of these influences are Haiku and Ichebana.

With Mrs. L we learned about how Japanese people wrote poems called Haikus. We learned that they had 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the next line and 5 in the last line also. We had a choice to write our names in Japanese.
