Adjective: An adjective is a word that describes a noun or pronoun.

        Example: "best" friends; "cute" puppy; "funny" movie

An adjective may answer one of these questions:

                What kind?            Which one?

                How much?            How Many?

                 Who’s?

There are 4 types of adjectives.

1.   Descriptive (tells what kind) – "red" flower

2.   Limiting (tells how many, how much, which one) –

"two" boys

3.   Predicate (an adjective in predicate that describes subject) – The grades were "excellent."

4.   Proper (comes from proper nouns, always capitalized, and usually descriptive) – "French" toast
