2.                Above the highlighted noun, write another noun that could replace the original noun.

 

#1      Up in the sky, the sky so blue

Birds can be seen by me and by you.

 

 #2     Deep in the murky waters, the lively croaking frogs bellow so loud

Dainty water striders are swiftly retreating from them and from others.

 

 

#3      I was standing on the street when the rusty old black Cadillac grunted rack-a-bump-she-bang,

and heated up my cool spot of air, all over my mustard-covered foot-long hot dog.
