When
you think about India, this person may come into mind,
Gandhi. Gandhi was born on October,2 1869 and died at age 78 on January 30,
1948 of assassination by Nathuram Godse. Gandhi is a person who
led India in countless boycotts. One of his biggest, Most famous
boycotts was The Salt March. The Salt March
was when Gandhi, some followers and some citizens marched to the Arabian
sea to get salt. They went because they were tired of being taxed so much on
it. Going to the sea was also against
the law. The Salt March hurt Britain’s economy because they made money of the
salt taxes. They went to the sea
for salt because salt is a important
mineral that transmits electrical nerve impulses.
