Approved Programs by School  Approved Courses by School Description by Program Cluster

Following is a listing by area of all approved programs and courses for our regional system - Education for Employment #450.  These courses have been approved by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and should be used in planning and developing new courses at the local level.

The course descriptions are meant to be general in nature.  The course content is the minimum that should be taught in any given course.  Local instructors have the option to add to an approved course, but cannot take away from the course content as approved by ISBE.

ISBE funds regional courses within the approved regional plan.  Local schools must link their courses to an approved regional course (done through Illinois Student Information System - ISIS) in order to be funded.
