Message from the
Superintendent
Our progress as a nation can be no swifter
than our progress in education.
-John F. Kennedy
District 7 stakeholders are keenly aware of the pivotal role
education plays in shaping and determining the future. They
recognize that fostering excellence in our schools leads to
the ultimate success of our children.
To this end, our stakeholders—employees, parents, students,
and citizens—have resolved to move the Edwardsville School
District to a position of prominence as a K-12 public
education institution recognized throughout the state and
nation for its quality programs and service to its many
constituents.
We are committed to searching for ways to enhance and
broaden the educational environment for our students,
reaching out beyond the school walls in new and significant
ways, developing innovative approaches to teaching and
learning, discovering new knowledge, and creating new
opportunities for all involved.
We are committed to preparing our students professionally
for the world that awaits them through distinctive academic
programs, performing arts, athletics, and through the many
opportunities for shared governance.
