Media Center Hours 
The Media Center is open from 6:30 am until 4:30 pm on days that school is in session. 

Circulation Policy 
Books may be checked out for an initial two week period and renewed twice for a total check out time of six weeks.  Books may be recalled by the Media Center before the six weeks is up if the book has been requested by another patron.  A recalled book must be returned immediatly, if the book is not returned at once fines will be charged at a rate higher than normal. 
Normal late fees are $.10/day, and must be payed before an item is renewed or a new item checked out. 

Computer Policy 
To use the computers in the Media Center, either for personal or class use, students must have a signed Acceptable Use Agreement on file.  When using the computers
students must sign in at the door of the Hard Drive Cafe' and put their school ID on top of the computer monitor.  There are no games and music allowed in the cafe'. 
Students must have their ID's to use the computers.  No Exceptions.

Reserve Book Policy 
Reserve books are books that have been pulled from the collection at the request of a 
teacher for use by a class or multiple classes.  The books are placed on a shelf behind the 
circulation desk.  Books on reserve may not be taken from the Media Center, NO EXCEPTIONS. 

Procedure for checking out reserve books. 
A binder listing all of the reserve books and the class for which they are on reserve will be 
located on the Circulation Desk.  After you find the book that you wish to use fill out the 
call number and your name on the forms provided.   Hand the form and your ID to the 
person at the Circulation desk.  Your ID will be returned when you return the book. 

Rules for Reserve Books. 
1. Reserve Books must be used in the Media Center. 
2. Only one book may be check out at a time. 
3. If you have a book checked out you may not use the computers until the book is returned. 
4. Books may only be checked out for one period. 
5. Books that are not returned will be charged a late fee of $1.00/hr. 
6. If a book is lost or damaged while on loan the person who checked it out will be charged 
the full replacement fee and will not be allowed to check out materials or use the computers 
in the Media Center until the balance is paid. 
7. Only students from EHS may check out reserve books. 

Inter-Library Loan 
To request a book through inter-library loan students must ask for, and return a permission slip, signed by a parent or legal guardian.  Forms may be obtained from the Media Center.  The Media Center will attempt to obtain the desired books from other libraries in the Lewis and Clark Library System.  Fines, check-out periods and
processing times vary, depending on the lending library. 

Book Donations 
Book donations are always welcome.  We cannot, however,  guarantee that all materials donated will end up in our collection.  Materials will be evaluated on a piece by
piece basis.  If we believe that a piece does not fit in with our collection we will offer the materials to one of the other libraries in the district.  To donate materials to the
