www.aj.com - a great site for students - they can ask a question and several possible web sites will be listed to help them try to find the answer

http://www.ala.org/parentspage/greatsites/ - features American Library Association's 700 top picks of the best Web sites for kids - also recommends references for teens, parents, families of award-winning books and multimedia

http://www.infoplease.com - an exhaustive almanac, encyclopedia, and dictionary

The new FirstSearch is a Web-based online reference service providing access to 86 databases and more than 3.3 million full-text articles in a variety of subject areas.
