Glen Carbon School is one of the PreK-2 primary buildings in the Edwardsville Unit School District #7. Our building has around 342 students at this time.

The students who attend Glen Carbon School through second grade will attend Woodland School for their third grade year. We are very proud of the education we have to offer the students at Glen Carbon School. The parent support in our building makes all the wonderful activities offered to the children possible.

Proposed Attendance Areas for New Schools Posted: October 26, 2007

The District 7 administration and Dr. Randy Pearson presented the preliminary results of the Attendance Area Study at the District’s regular Board of Education meeting tonight. Dr. Pearson, Chairperson of the Geography Department at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, was commissioned by the District to reconfigure elementary and middle school attendance areas for the 2008-09 school year.
