Hamel Elementary is located in Hamel, Illinois and is part of the Edwardsville School District. Hamel School is a Kindergarten through Second Grade center. Our students combine with Midway Elementary to attend third, fourth and fifth grade at Worden Elementary School.

Our website is one of the many forms of communication we use with our parents to keep them informed. We are proud of our positive collaboration with students, staff, parents and community. Peruse our site and enjoy!

Summer Zone will emphasize technology

Keeping their kids mentally engaged and physically active as well as entertained over summer break is always a challenge for parents. But District 7's 2013 Summer Zone meets all of these requirements and more with its new programs featuring EHS student athlete sports mini-camps, computer lab access, Passport to the World as well as a partnership with SIUE to use its recreational facilities.
