Welcomeelcome to the Liberty Middle School website

Liberty Middle School is student-centered and will encourage, stimulate, foster and support each student's development of a positive self-image. Respect for the ideas and feelings of others, a desire for learning, and an appreciation for giving back to the community are all cornerstones of our school. On behalf of the staff, I would like to reassure you of our commitment to providing positive experiences that will promote social, emotional, and physical growth, as well as intellectual growth.

"Oh, the places you'll go!" is a central theme for this school year. This theme comes from a popular children's book by Dr. Seuss. It is a great book for all ages because it is about something we all have to go through: life. The truth about life is that there are always obstacles to overcome, but still "you will move mountains." "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" tells the reader that you can go to high heights in life as long as you maintain a positive attitude. Dr. Seuss' message also includes, "but sometimes you won't." Life isn't always easy; there will be "bang-ups and hang-ups" along the way. But the point he makes is to not let those get you down. Rather, get up, get out of your rut, and escape those challenging times for good times to come.

Please enjoy your visit to our website!
