YEARBOOKS
You don’t want to be the only one without a yearbook in May. Order one today! Order forms are in the main office.

The yearbook needs your help. We are looking for baby pictures of students or teachers. If you have a baby picture you would like to see in the yearbook this spring, please bring one to school. Make sure your name, your team number, the age you were when the picture was taken, and what you were doing in the picture is attached. You can drop the picture off in the main office or give them to Mrs. Schindler, Room 312 or Mrs. Lipe, Room 005.

Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites students and parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.

Here is how you can submit photos online:
• Go to: https://images.jostens.com/login
• If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username:400003745 and password:Lincoln
• Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
• Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.
• Click "Save Details".

It's that easy! Submit your photos today! The last day to submit photos is 2/14/2010.

Computer Club
Computer Club meetings in November will be on Wednesday, November 18th in room 100 from 3:15-4:15. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Laakko.

ART CLUB
The Art Club is an after school activity open to any seventh or eighth grade students who are interested in art. The club meets every Monday after school unless there is a school holiday. Come join us in the art room from 3:15-4:15 on Monday if you would like to be part of the club. If you have any questions see Mrs. Fries or Miss Parks, the club sponsors.

BUS SAFETY
Each bus now contains a camera and sound recording device, so please maintain proper behavior while riding to and from school.

CELL PHONES
No cell phone usage is allowed before school once you arrive on school property. Cell phones should be used after the 3:00 bell rings. All cells need to be in lockers during the school day. If you use a cell phone during the times it is not allowed, the cell phone will be taken from you and not returned until the end of the day or a parent may have to come to pick it up. Remember, texting or calling will not be allowed once you are on school property.
PICK UP AND DROP OFF
If you pick up or drop off your student at school, please be aware that you MAY NOT drop off or pick up by the gym lobby. That area is reserved for buses only. You may drop off your student at the front main entrance or use the driveway between Lincoln and Woodland schools and drive to the top. You may drop your student off there.

OPENING OUTSIDE DOORS
Students, please DO NOT open any outside door to anyone wanting to enter the building. All visitors need to enter the building at the main entrance by the main office and sign in with our security officer. Thank you for your cooperation.

SECURITY MEASURES
In an effort to keep our school safe, any visitor to our school needs to show photo I.D. when entering the building. Please be aware of this security measure. Also, once school beings for the day, all doors entering our building are locked with the exception of the main door (the entrance facing the Convenient Mart across the street). That is the door you must use to enter our building.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES
STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE THEIR CELL PHONES ON THE BUSES TO OR FROM SCHOOL unless it is an emergency. Please remember that no electronic devices are allowed in school. Cell phones must be kept in lockers. Cell phones taken out during school or that ring during school will be confiscated. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAVE CELL PHONES IN PURSES OR POCKETS. Even on “vibrate” they are still a distraction in class.

BEFORE SCHOOL RULES
Please remember that 6th and 7th grade students are to be in the gym lobby until the bell rings at 8:05. The 8th graders need to report to the cafeteria and stay there until the 8:05 bell rings. NO STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO BE ANYWHERE IN THE BUILDING, INCLUDING THEIR LOCKERS UNTIL 8:05. Students who wish to eat breakfast should report to the cafeteria and stay there until the 8:05 bell rings.

CHECK CASHING POLICY
Neither the Main Office nor the Cafeteria has funds available for cashing checks for students. Students should bring separate checks for payment of lunches, PE uniforms, Activity Fees, FIT and/or Team collections. IF you have any questions, you may contact our bookkeeper, Terri Colby, in the Main Office. Thank you for your cooperation.
