President Reports

Second graders in Mrs. Burns class wrote brief reports about a President. Students were given graphic organizers to do the research. Students were to find out when and where the President was born, jobs he had prior to becoming President, term of office, an important event that happened while he was President, and when and how he died (if applicable). After researching, students wrote their reports using Alpha Smarts (mini word processors). The reports were saved on the main classroom computer and edited. The students where shown how to copy a picture of their President from a web site and paste it into their report document. We wish to thank Mrs. Lauher, a parent volunteer, who helped with this project.
