Franklin Delano Roosevelt

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born January 30, 1882 in New York. He was a Governor and lawyer before he was President. Franklin was President from 1933-1945. He was elected for four consecutive terms of office. He was President during World War II. Franklin D. Roosevelt died April 12,1945 at the age of 63. He died of cerebral hemorrhage. His last few words were "I have a terrific headache."

Theodore Roosevelt was born on October27, 1858 in New York City. His jobs were as a rancher, a writer, and a public official. He was president for 8 years. While he was president the San Francisco earthquake happened. On January 6, 1919, at age 60 he died of a blood clot in his heart.

John Adams was born on October 30, 1735 in Massachusetts. He was a teacher, lawyer, and writer. John Adams was president from 1797 to 1801. When he was president the Navy Department and Marine Corps were established. John Adams died on July 4, 1806. John Adams had a stroke.

William Henry Harrison was born on February 4,1779 in Virginia. Before he was president he was a Virginia soldier. His term in office was from March 4, 1841 to April 4, 1841. Something that happened while he was president was the game of basketball was invented 1891. He died on April 4, 1841 from pneumonia at age 68.

Herbert C. Hoover was born on August 10, 1874 in Iowa. He was an engineer before he was President. He was President from 1929-1933. When he was President, the stock market crashed and the first Trans-Atlantic solo flight was made by a woman. He died on October 20, 1964. He died because he was old.

Grover Cleveland was born March 18, 1837 in New Jersey. He was a lawyer and sheriff. He was President from 1885-1889 and 1893-1897. While he was President, Utah became our 45th state. He became ill and died on June 24, 1908.

Millard Fillmore was born on January 7, 1800 in New York. He was a lawyer. While he was President, slaves ran away on the Underground Railroad. He was President from 1850 to 1853. He died on March 8, 1874.

When Andrew Jackson was President, the Black Hawk War and Second Seminole War took place. Andrew Jackson died June 8, 1845. Andrew Jackson had tuberculosis and dropsy.

Dwight David Eisenhower was born on October 14, 1890 in Texas. His job before President was as an Army Officer. His term in Office was 1953-1961. While he was President, NASA was established and Alaska and Hawaii became the 49th and 50th states. He died on March 28, 1969, because Cones live heart failure at the age of 78. He is buried in Abilene, Texas.
