Franklin D. Roosevelt

Franklin D. Roosevelt was born on January 3O, 1882 in Hyde Park, New York. Before he was President his jobs were assistant secretary of the Navy and he was also elected governor of New York. He was in office from 1933 to 1945. While he was in office, World War II started. Franklin D. Roosevelt died April 12, 1945 of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Ronald W. Reagan

Ronald W. Reagan was born on February 6, 1911 in Tampico, IL. Before President he was in the Air Force, radio sports announcer, President of the Screen Actors Guild, and spokesman for G. E. He was President from 1981-1989. While he was President the U.S. taxes were lowered, communism in the Soviet Union was defeated, and American hostages in Iran were freed. On June 5, 2004, he died because of Alzheimers disease.

Herbert Hoover

Herbert Hoover was born on August 10, 1874 in West Branch, Iowa. He was a chief engineer and the United States food administrator. He became President in 1929. While he was President, the Great Depression happened. On October 20, 1964 in New York, Herbert Hoover had a heart attack and died.

He had a stroke.

William Taft was born September 15, 1857 in Ohio. In 1892 he was a judge. In 1902 he was a governor of the Philippines. In 1904 he was elected President and in 1913 he was re-elected. While Taft was President federal income tax was established. On Tuesday, January 7, 1893 he was very ill. He could not do anything about it and Taft died.

He was President from 1850-1853. While he was president, the Underground Railroad was happening and the railroad was expanding. While he was President, he died of a stroke on March 8, 1874 in Buffalo, New York.

He was president from 1897 to 1901. While he was President, the Boxer Rebellion happened. On September 6, 1901, he was shot and eight days later, on September 14, 1901, he died.

During this time, Arkansas and Michigan were added to the Union. He died on June 8, 1845 of old age.
