The Angelshark

ngelsharks are fascinating creatures. They are a brownish-sandy color. They have a ray-like body and fins that are like wings. They bury themselves in the sand and they wait. When a fish swims by, the shark grabs it! They eat mollusks, crustaceans, and fish. Angelsharks have small trap-like teeth. An Angelshark can get up to 6.5 feet long and can weigh up to 176 pounds! They give birth to live young. Angelsharks can be found in the eastern Pacific Ocean, from southern Alaska, USA to Baja, CA. USA and from Ecuador to Southern Chile. The Angelsharks are not extremely fast swimmers. Angelsharks are truly amazing!A
Mako Shark

Did you ever picture a Mako shark? I will tell you all I know. It is dark gray-blue on top and white on the belly. It eats tuna, porpoise, and just about anything. It weighs up to 1,000 pounds and the length is 5-8feet. It has long thin sharp teeth, long thin gill slits and a conical snout. They are found in warm tropical oceans and their speed is 60 m.p.h. They can leap out of the water. The pups are about 2 feet at birth. That is why I like sharks.
Blacktip Reef Shark

This shark is found in tropical waters in the Indian and Pacific coral reefs and even in shallow lagoons. It has a black stripe on its side, thin, long, teeth and has a flat snout. Can you imagine a shark as big as your table knife with teeth as sharp as your table knife? Well, if you can, this is the name of it: the Spined Pygmy Shark. The Spined Pygmy Shark likes to eat squid, shrimp, and mid-water fish like lanternfish. Spined Pygmy Sharks are just seven to eight inches long. The color of the Spined Pygmy Shark is dark gray to black with white tipped fins. Its belly glows in the dark. It has a spine in front of its first dorsal fin, but not the second dorsal fin. The Spined Pygmy Shark can be found in tropical oceans and temperate oceans. Here are some cool facts about the Spined Pygmy Shark. The Spined Pygmy Shark is very rare, and very sleek. The upper teeth are narrow and small. The lower teeth and higher teeth are knife like. There is an extra round of gills behind each eye. Arent they cool?

They look like a grayish color with darker stripes and a white belly. They eat fish, turtles, crabs, clams, mammals, sea birds, and even other sharks. The Tiger Shark can go up to 2.4 m.p.h., Which is pretty slow. Theyre found worldwide. A lot of people notice them for their razor sharp teeth. Great White sharks are gray on top and white on their belly. The Great White eats seals, sea lions, and beluga whales. The Great White is mostly found in the Pacific Ocean and by the shore. The Great White Sharks teeth rotate when needed and teeth are 3 inches long. Great Whites have 3,000 teeth, and a pointed snout. They have five gills. Their speed is 15 m.p.h. Thats why I like Great White Sharks.

The Goblin shark has soft pink-gray skin. The Goblin shark has rounded fins and long, asymmetrical tail fins. The Goblin shark has long, sharp teeth in the front of its mouth. The Goblin shark grows to be about 11 feet long. The Goblin shark has five gill slits and 2 dorsal fins. The Goblin shark has no fin spines, mouth behind the eyes, and no nictitating eyelids. They breathe using gills not nostrils. No one knows the life span of the Goblin shark. Thats why I think Goblin sharks are amazing.
