Watershed Nature Center 2002

Students in Mrs. Burns' second grade class visited the Watershed Nature Center to make Native American clay pots.

On the trail to collect the clay.

We saw turtles on a log.

It's dirty work.

Mrs. Bower helped us dig clay.

Mrs. Hackett taught us how to mold our clay pots.

We worked very carefully.

This was fun!

Our pots are finished.

The pots are ready to dry and then be fired in a kiln.
