Prerequisite: computer concepts grades: 11,12 credits: .50 This course is designed to provide students with an in-depth study of the various areas that are related to servicing microcomputers and peripheral devices. It incorporates both hands-on activities and technical reading. Safety precautions and fundamental diagnostic trouble-shooting procedures are emphasized. When paired with PC Operation Systems, the student may have the training necessary to take the A+ Operating System Technologies certification test. In most cases, additional preparation is required. Dual credit through Lewis & Clark Community College is an option for those who qualify and also take PC Operating Systems. |
