Assistant Principal, N.O. Nelson Complex
Todd Hayes is the
Assistant Principal of both the N.O. Nelson Complex and the Madison County
Detention Home. He has been employed by District 7 for 13 years. Before
becoming an Assistant Principal, Mr. Hayes was a Business Teacher and the
Department Head of the Business & Applied Technology Departments at the high
school.
Mr. Hayes earned his
B.S. in Business Administration with a specialization in Business Education
in 1995 and his M.S. in Educational Administration in 2002, both from
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Mr. Hayes enjoys
spending time with his wife Catrenia and their three small children, Emily,
Benjamin, and Grant.

Honors
Spanish III- Honors Spanish 3 is an advanced study
of the Spanish language and focuses on reading Spanish literature while
continuing to learn grammatical topics as well. Real life application of
Spanish is expected from students, so conversation skills are also practiced
in class. Honors Spanish 3 builds upon knowledge gained from Spanish 1 and
Spanish 2, so those classes need to be taken before considering Honors
Spanish 3.
