The Tiger Times is an 8 page newspaper
produced by journalism students at Edwardsville High School. The
entire student body, the primary audience of readers, received
the paper free of charge to encourage readership and to ensure
the showcasing of student journalistic work.
The newspaper attempts to inform and entertain its primary
audience as well as the school faculty and staff, the
administration, and the members of the community, in a broad,
fair, and accurate manner on all subjects that affect readers.
It also seeks to provide a forum for the opinion of students,
the staff of the paper, and the faculty, to encourage an
exchange of ideas and opinions of issues of prominence to the
readers.
