Student Assistance Program

The Student Assistance Program is a school-based intervention program involving the whole school community. Faculty, staff, and parents are given the tools to notice and effectively respond to students who are exhibiting difficulties and refer them to the Student Assistance Team. AT the heart of SAP is a core team of school personnel who are specially trained to receive referrals, intervene in a student’s problematic pattern of behaviours, and offer assistance. The success of SAP depends on the commitment and involvement of the whole school community.
