District #7 Spelling Bee
15 students participated in the District #7 Spelling Bee on Thursday, February 27 at Liberty Middle School. To make it to this level, students had to progress through a written classroom level spelling test and then a school-level traditional spelling bee.
The following students represented their building at this event:
Cassens: Hallie B., Ronan P., Jacob V.
Columbus: Addison M. and Charlotte M.
Woodland: Emory K. and Ryder U.
Worden: Aubrey Y.
Liberty: Cooper M. and Ryan W.
Lincoln: Jack B., Mason G., Warren S., Lucas W., and Grayson W.
School winners not in attendance: Reid B., Matthew H., Priya J., and Zai S.
After 19 rounds of intense competition, Jacob Vinson, a 5th grader from Cassens, correctly spelled the word fallacy to become the District 7 Spelling Bee Champion! Ryan Wise from Liberty Middle School was the runner-up.
Congratulations to all of our stellar spellers and thank you to all of the building-level sponsors who work hard to make this event possible. #d7proud
