On Tuesday, Oct. 1, District #7 welcomed Illinois State Superintendent Dr. Tony Sanders and Chairman of the Illinois State Board of Education Dr. Steven Isoye for a special visit.
Their visit started at Leclaire Elementary, where they learned about the CASTLE program, and spent time with first graders. From there, they toured the construction progress at Lincoln Middle School.
The visit wrapped up at EHS, where Dr. Sanders and Dr. Isoye visited the CASTLE program there, engaged with students in the Future Teachers Program, and were guided on a tour by Board of Education student representatives Amulya Girada and Josie Proctor.
