Engage District 7
Help us plan for the future of District 7
District 7 seeks your input! One of the district’s priorities is to engage the community and ensure those who live and work in D7 have a voice in its future.
ENGAGE District 7, created as part of the implementation of our strategic plan, is a combined team of District 7 employees and stakeholders. Engage District 7 is hosting a series of community engagement meetings for your input on how to meet the facility needs for all District 7 students now and in the future. The program is designed to ensure the district’s work in the future is guided by a facility improvement plan developed “For Our Community By Our Community.”
Parents, staff and community members are encouraged to participate in ENGAGE District 7. As part of the program, community engagement sessions will kick off on Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Worden Elementary School. During the sessions, participants will learn more about topics such as Planning Priorities for the D7 facilities and will engage with other members of the community on what’s most important now and what projects can wait until later. Each session will feature an interactive work activity with fellow community participants to help identify the priorities to move D7 schools forward. The results of the community engagement sessions will be included in a series of recommendations that will be presented to the D7 Board of Education.
Everyone is encouraged to participate and help D7 build a facility improvement plan for the future.
Join us at TWO meetings this fall to help keep our schools moving in the right direction for each student in District 7.
Please choose ONE meeting time for EACH session.
