The Edwardsville Community Unit School District #7 Board of Education met on Monday, August 26, 2024, in the Liberty Middle School Auditorium for its monthly board meeting.    

What began as a casual conversation about the painting of senior parking spots turned into a plan for an ambitious group of EHS students, who now hope it marks the start of a new tradition at their school.

The KMOV Surprise Squad paid a special visit to EHS special education teacher Heather Clausen, who goes above and beyond for her students.

The Edwardsville Community Unit School District #7 Board of Education met on Monday, August 12, 2024, in the Liberty Middle School Auditorium for its monthly work session.

Superintendent Dr. Patrick Shelton has announced that high school principal Dr. Steve Stuart is stepping down from that role, effective immediately, and will assume the position of executive director of the EGHM Foundation.

Herman Shaw's dedication to giving back has made a lasting impact on our community and District #7. As a founder of the historic Lincoln School Alumni Foundation, Shaw and fellow alumni have been providing scholarships to deserving students and funding for a home-school liaison since 1986.

Summer is right around the corner, which means many of our athletic teams and extracurricular groups have announced their summer camps.  

Edwardsville Community Unit School District #7 has announced several building leadership appointments in preparation for the 2024-25 school year.  

The district honored several of its outstanding employees, recognized the contributions of those employees with 25 years of service, and bid farewell with a salute to its retirees during its District Awards Banquet.

Edwardsville High School has a storied athletic program, but not until the summer of 2023 had it ever had a female athletics director when Amy Boscolo was named to the position.

In their inaugural year, the Liberty Middle School dance team defied expectation, clinching a remarkable third-place finish at the Illinois Drill Team Association (IDTA) State Dance Competition last month.

Since its inception in 2016, the Tiger Den at EHS has been instrumental in equipping students, both with and without disabilities, with practical life skills.

Stewart named Associate Principal of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Edwardsville High School.  

Michael Cory will assume the role of principal for Lincoln Middle School on July 1, 2024.
